Welcome to Able Journey Farm: Every Bouquet Has a Story
If you’re reading this, welcome.
Whether you stumbled across our little corner of the internet or have been following our journey for years, I’m so glad you’re here.
Able Journey Farm didn’t begin with flowers.
It began with a dream.
For many years, my life has centered around caregiving, family, and learning that even the hardest seasons can produce unexpected beauty. Like so many people, I’ve discovered that life rarely follows the path we imagined. Sometimes the detours become the destination.
The name Able Journey reflects that belief.
It’s about focusing on what is possible. It’s about moving forward, even when the road looks different than you expected. It’s about finding purpose, hope, and beauty in ordinary days.
And now…that journey has led us to flowers.
Over the coming months, you’ll see this little backyard transform into a working cut flower farm in North Texas. We’ll share the victories, the mistakes, the lessons learned, and probably a few weeds and pests that got the better of us.
You’ll meet trays of tiny seedlings that we hope will someday become bouquets celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, new babies, and quiet “thinking of you” moments.
Some flowers won’t germinate.
Some will bloom beyond our expectations.
We’ll learn from all of them.
Our long-term vision reaches far beyond growing beautiful flowers. We hope Able Journey Farm becomes a place of opportunity—a business that creates meaningful work for people who often struggle to find it, including individuals with disabilities and those looking for a genuine second chance.
That vision won’t happen overnight.
Right now, it’s simply one bed at a time.
One seed at a time.
One bouquet at a time.
If you’ve decided to follow along, thank you. Your encouragement means more than you know. We hope you’ll celebrate the successes with us, laugh at the inevitable failures, and watch this dream grow from a backyard into something that encourages our community.
Around here, every flower has a purpose.
Every person has value.
And every bouquet has a story.
Welcome to ours.
