There’s something magical about unexpected visitors — especially when they’re big, gentle, and covered in soft fur. Over the past few months, we’ve noticed a recurring cast of four-legged friends wandering into our backyard. Yes — cows!
These sweet neighbors belong to the pasture just behind our home, and despite fences and boundaries, they keep finding their way to our little corner of the world.

It’s equal parts funny, curious, and heart-melting — they stroll in like they own the place (and honestly, sometimes it feels like they do).
🪩 How They Get In
These cows have a secret superpower: their determination. There’s a spot in the fence between our yard and the pasture where they’ve figured out they can squeeze through. We’ve laughed about how their will to come visit seems stronger than any fence — lol!
We’ve spoken with their owner, and they’re aware of the situation. The fence is getting repaired soon, so hopefully less unscheduled bovine backyard time is ahead. Still… something tells me these curious cows might try again!
🐮 Precious Moments Worth Sharing
Whether they’re grazing in the grass, curiously sniffing around the neighborhood, or just taking in the day, these cows have become little personalities in our homestead story. They remind us to slow down, smile, and appreciate the simple — and surprising — moments life brings us.
